The bath rooms and shower facilities were not all in working order and needed to be cleaned. The sites (RV pull-through) were extremely small and we were almost right on top of our neighbors.again the pictures on the website are very deceiving. For a clearer point of reference, it is 73 miles from Fireside to Old Faithful.1 hour and 41 minutes with no traffic. It is 32 miles to the South Gate into Yellowstone National Park. It is true, but somewhat deceiving as well. We chose it because the website states that it is 32 miles to Yellowstone National Park. We chose to stay here for the 5 days we visited Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, and Jackson. Let me begin by stating that the staff was very helpful when I made reservations however, when my wife interacted with the staff concerning laundry questions, the lady at the counter was extremely rude. They want to be paid upfront and there’s a reason. Out of 179 sites more than half are VACANT! ITS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THEIR YELP SITE IS “UNCLAIMED” AND THEY HAVE NEVER RESPONDED TO ANY COMMENTS ABOUT THEIR PARK!! THERE IS ZERO PRIDE IN OWNERSHIP. Our section has only 7 trailers, sad since this is prime season. Add cable TV option!! Overall impression is the park is run down and needs TLC. The closest trash bin is next to the camp store which is a quarter mile away. This park has so much potential if they would do the really necessary upgrades it desperately needs. Just power wash as it’s disgusting!!□ Yes it’s an RV Park with full hookups but considering we are paying $91.00 including taxes per night it’s beyond disappointing. BRING DEET and plenty of it !!! There is a netted enclosure in the center of the park covered in netting but the netting is covered in bird poop. There is a pond creek by our site but water is stagnant thus resulting in lots of mesquites. The electric outlet is dead so can’t blow dry hair. The ladies bathroom doors are missing 2 of the 3 locking handles for privacy. Men’s room urinal is missing in our section. Bathrooms are in desperate need of repair and need remodeling. NO shade anywhere which is a problem for small trailers(no awning) and tenters. STOP □ Has limited camp store with pool □ table and Bar. But very nice people here I would stay again when in the atea.įireside buffalo valley RV Park 1 star Beautiful and majestic mountains, so so WiFi, and really close to Grand Teton National Park. The price they get is definitely for the proximity to Yellowstone and the view. But again your in the woods camping bugs go with camping. Now heres the kicker.you better bring bug spray because the mosquitoes are annoying!!! That one I agree on. Its nice during the day but at night it got down to 38degrees in August. Even if they had one I don't think anyone would use it. I did not see a pool nor did I look for it. We washed cloths and ok they could upgrade the washer and dryers. Water pressure and temp are good in the showers. Yes they had some bugs but you are camping in the woods. There are no food stores close by you have to go down to Jackson 45 minutes away. Proximity to Grand tetons and Yellowstone are great if your not camping right in the park. My son left his awning out and it got real windy and they came and secured it so he did not lose it. I don't know what people are saying that its that but bad cause I didn't see it. We had 3 trailers together with the field right behind us which was great for the kids. Stayed 4 days and while its not the best campground its definitely not the worst.
